What are some of the challenges do you face to consider each other equal?

1) Prejudice and bigotry. Some people have been taught to hate others, or that others are innately inferior.
2) Education and openness. Many of us simply don't know much about many of the world's cultures and people. We may need time to study and learn about others in order to consider them equal.
