Great question!!
I don't think either are totally necessary to wear glasses. You could get glasses that grip your head tightly on either side and have them sit on your nose in front. Or you could have them loop around your ears and have something quite tight against your forehead or between your eyes and friction alone would hold them up. Or, if you're really unlucky and don't have ears or a nose, you could probably do a combination of the two, but you'd probably have headaches most of the time. However, if you didn't have ears or a nose I don't think glasses would be your biggest problem. I would suggest going without glasses for a couple of years so you'll have enough money to hire a quality plastic surgeon to correct your facial deformity. (The easiest solution would probably be to wear contacts and draw ears and a nose on your face.)

I would say ears, I mean the whole glasses would be hanging and slanting upwards which would make a very uncofortable seeing range. Although, the nose is pretty important too because with out it the glasses would be down on your upper lip and then you wouldn;t be able to see very well at all. Oh dear, nose or ears nose or ears- einie meanie miny moe, catch a tiger by the toe, if he hollers let him go, enie meanie miny more. The EARS win!

Nose, nowadays they have glasses that rest on the nose and cling to the head, you don't need ears! Funny enough for ya?

Hmmm. You can wear glasses without yer ears: pince nez, for instance. Or a monocle. But whatcha gonna prop them on if you ain't got a nose?

I would say nose because if you didn't have a nose your glasses would be down by your mouth constantly.

nose because without it u need ur hands then to catch ur glasses
but u can use plaster instead of ur ears
