One guy pointed it out best, they do not cook the burgers like they used to back about 20 years ago!

Eventhough the process is different for Mc Donalds and burger king, both resturants microwave the burger for about 10 seconds before they serve so it is hot!

As far as im concerned the microwave kills the whole experence!

Wendys is the only one I know that still makes the burgers fresh from the grill that actually taste good!

On a side note, people do not realize how bad the food has gotten at both of these places over the years. Take a burger from 20 years ago and take one made today and there is deffinitly a difference. Its just like what Coke did to us back in the 1980's when they switched from Sugar Cane to high fractose corn syrup!

Yes McDonald's and Burger King cook hamburgers different. McDonald's frys the meat as Burger King runs the meat through a convoy grill. So the meat that is fried has all that grease and the grill does not.

Yepper....

The good old Mc D is put on a grill with a bit of oil...fried and then sits in a pan and is reheated in a microwave (hence the term "Fast Food")

Burger King on the other hand place its burger patties on a rack and it is flamed broiled...(alot less grease) And their burgers are usually served immediately. Never see a King burger nuked...

Yes, McDonald's fries theirs on a grill; Burger King broils theirs on a grill. At least, that's what Burger King claims. Wait a minute, that doesn't make any sense, does it. Damned commercials!

as late as the 1970's mcdonalds burgers were fried on a flat griddle and burger king were actually flame broiled on a unique conveyor belt machine. nowadays neither franchise really cooks the burgers onsite.the patties arrive fully cooked and frozen and are heated in a microwave oven.sad but true.
