If there was a draft and you decided to flee, what is your reasoning?
- If you fled to lets say Canada would you flee from there to if they had a draft?
- Even if you dont believe in the cause, dont you agree that wars fought now protect your children later?
- Do you understand it is your right as an American to serve when called?
Thanks!

The draft in this situation would amount to saying to the American people--who have made their opposition tothis war abundantly clear by NOT enlisting, by voting, andin the polls--"Fight this war or we will put you in jail."
That's not America--that is a dictatorship. And in a dictatorship, only the tyrants go free. I'd rather be in jail--at least I'd still be loyal to my country--the real America, built and peopled by free men and women, not the slaves of a dictator.

I wouldn't call it a right. It's a duty and if it's a draft, it's done whether we like it or not. So if we don't want to, we still have to.
I don't think the war on Iraq is protecting anybody in the states. I think it's really just for oil.
I would flee because I don't want to die from some weapon. I have a friend who was killed in Iraq in August 2005 and it was a very painful moment for me.

-Congress never declared war, so it would be unconstitutional to participate in a foreign war. The Bush administration committed fraud against congress to grant him what authority they did.
-Sometimes, but not in the case of Iraq.
-We all have a right to bear arms, whether called or not.

it's not our right, rather our duty, but only if the nation is in danger, rather than some Iraqis, who refuse to do the fighting themselves.

Reasoning would be to not fight an unjust war.
