Any advice - woule prefer to get it back in the bean bag cube but at worst I will have to bin it and get some more. Its all through the house and was hidden in the kids clothes, nappies etc!

I have tried scooping it but its sticking to everything and cant get it out of the shovel! Might have to resort to the hoover but dont want to wake the babies up, 2 year old is still scared of it and we live in a bungalow! Might try wetting them to see if that stops them sticking to everything and then just bin them after. i've got the whole house to tidy up and brush and shovel are just useless, scooping with hands doesnt work either, they just stick to my hands. Was funny at the time when I walked through from the kitchen and caught them having fun, not so funny now! At least I got some photos of the minxes first! makes a change from jars of cream, vaseline, shampoo, toothpaste, margerine, breakfast cereal and dried pasta! but a lot worse to tidy up!

WELL!!! It is quite obvious to me that you have had a huge number of really cool (but messy) experiences with the kids. Good for you! My wee ones are not so wee now and I miss the disaster stages. I should think that it is almost the appropriate time to introduce the little dickens' to the vacuum. Get the camera out because you will surely need to have evidence of where the cat went... when the hubby comes home... or MAYBE NOT!!!?
Enjoy life with the wee ones... they are not to wee too long...

:)

Put the leg of an old pair of tights over the vacuum hose and suck it up, then empty into the bin and repeat / if you have a re-usable bag on your vacuum you don't need to do this, but otherwise it'll cost you a fortune in bags.

Do you have a shop vac?
I would use a clean shop vac or vacuum w/out a filter, then dump it back into the bean bag. Might need to add some additional fluff.
I would sew the zipper shut personally.

Sounds nuts, but try using a plastic rake like for outside leaves. You don't have to vacuum. Or, put a brand new bag into the vacuum and then when you've finished, you can filter it through a strainer or collander.

Just a thought or two

Scoop up all you can and then go over everything with a Shop Vac. If you do that, you can empty the clean collection bin back into the beanbag.

Even if you find a way - I would suggest the vacuum cleaner - why would you want to bin them and get some more? If the kids have learned how to open the zippers they will do it again. Do you really want to go through this again?

Oh you poor thing....had near misses like this with my children....be careful they don't swallow the stuff could be nasty....if you decide to refill sew the end of the zip onto the fabric so inquisitive little fingers cannot repeat their trick....bin the old stuff or you may have bits of their nappy contents in the cube too.

Made me chuckle.

Good luck.

hope you have a dyson ! clean up mess with vacum, whilst trying NOT getting stray pets or nappies sucked into vacum ! once bean bag filler in dyson tube, empty contents bag into bean cube, when bean cube back full SEW up zips hence preventing rug rats repeating performance LOL
