So I put this pink fuzzy blanket in with some darks, quite by accident of course. Now there are fuzzies all over my blacks that won't come off. Tried washing the load again, but didn't work. Any great tricks that won't require sitting for hours using a lint roller on a load of clothes? Help please!!

Oh dear. If washing the load didn't work, you may have to go with brute force.

Instead of a lint roller, though, you could try a lint brush. Hang your clothes on hangers (preferably outside) and brush them down (maybe put newspapers underneath). If you are spending more than 5 minutes per piece of clothing, I think you are being too much of a perfectionist! You should be done in under two hours.

The only other thing I can think of is just bear it -- wear the darks on the weekends, and keep washing until the lint is gone.

BTW, be sure you wash your washer and clean out the dryer lint trap and the barrel. That will keep the fuzzies from travelling to the next load, and may help get off existing fuzzies.

I wouldn't worry to much i wouldn't say it is dead at the moment because The length of time a caterpillar takes to go through metamorphosis depends on the species. Some take as little as two weeks, others take months. Look up the species in a field guide or on Google to find out more about the life cycle of specific species. I had a Tarantula that didn't move or eat for about 5 months it just hide in a little burrow and after the 5 month i was deciding whether to keep it or bury it and it moved, so i kept it. Always make sure the animal is dead before burying it or whatever you do with it, it may still be alive. A slightly better description of the caterpillar might help!! Has it got red rings on its joints or any other specific colouring or patterns?

They make a device specifically for this problem. I have one that is called The Lint Eater. You should be able to enter in Lint ball remover on Yahoo or Google and it will show you a selection of them.

Have you tried using duct tape? Oh yes, and the other option is fabric/lint shavers. They actually make them and sell in those small household item catalogs. I bought one when I had another sweater lint problem, and it worked great! I even forgot I still have it, but I'm glad it's there when I need it.

try using a lint tape.. or u could make a big lump of sellotape and and run it over your black woollens. the 'fuzzies' would stick to it easily.

My dad taught me a really good trick for this- use an electric razor. You know, like a man's Norelco. It works quickly and wonderfully and it will not damage your clothes.
