My boyfriend asked me to completely shave my pubic area, which I did, within a few days I had so many ingrown hairs it wasnt funny. I am afraid to shave again, I like the clean look but the ugly skin isnt worth it. Besides waxing, whats the best way to be smooth and hairless?

i use to have this problem ... Now i use a new razor (disposable use 2x) and shave every other day.. now i don't even get razor burn or ingrown hairs. worked for me and believe me i have the worst skin when it comes to shaving.. i have more problems with ingrown hairs on my legs LoL.. also i know the "intimate boutiques" (lovers lane ex:) sells this stuff called COOCHY SHAVE CREAM (pretty cheap 11$)& that helps too.

Shaving works great using regular shave cream but, the key is using TEND SKIN as well. Most spas that do waxings have this product. It is put on the hair area and conditions the skin and hair making it smooth so you don't get in-grown hair or shaving bumps. It helps keep the skin smooth after shaving too so when the hair starts to grow back it still comes out without being ingrown. It's a little pricey @ $40 a bottle but it works!

I read recently that they use deoderant to help prevent razor burn or something. Its supposed to be an old strippers trick. Unrefined coconut oil also helps with razor burn/smoothness. They probably wax. They can certainly afford getting waxed a lot. And not all strip joints are full nude ones so those can get away with a bit of stubble.

i have the same problem too. i shave it 3-4 times a week with the schick intuiton razor and a little bit of shaving cream. it makes it smoother and stays hairless a little longer.

You can try facial stuff on your pubic but be careful of the infection ya~ Anyway, is not a bad thing for trying to enjoy your sex life but just don't force it too much. Hope you get what you want~

There are many depilation creams that weaken the hair's root so it will eventually stop growing at all.
If you have the money and want it permanent fast I would strongly recommend laser depilation.

make sure you have a new blade, if you decide to shave, make sure you shave every other day and change your blade around every three weeks
