5th grade because 5th grade, you have one foot in adulthood and yet you are still a child, with one foot in the child land. So, basically, you are maturing at that time and I felt important at that time, graduating, and going into 6th grade.

Probably 5th, b/c, in my school at least, you felt older, and yet you didn't have the stress of like 10 teachers and classes that young; just 2 or 3.

It was a long time ago...but I think it really depends on who is in your class and who your teacher is. For me, the best grade was 5th. I had this really awesome teacher and we went on a lot of field trips, too.

4th grade was a learning experience. My mother was my teacher. It was not the best but I learned more.

Third, because they have the skills to work on their own, but they aren't old enough to be rebellious yet. They socialize well for project work and generally retain their enthusiasm for school.
