First, learn the posture. Stand up straight, shoulders back, chest out, chin just above level but keep it looking natural and not rigid. Your shoulders shouldn't really move more than is natural (don't swing your arms). Take long, confident strides and swing your hips just a little. Those are the basics but the key is making the walk your own and making it look natural. Good luck!

They call it a catwalk because that's just what you do. When cats walk they place each foot in front of the other as if walking on a straight line painted on the ground. So models do the same thing, one foot in front of the other. Don't be afraid to move with your hips a little and keep your confidence, that is the tell tale stature- models NEVER slouch. Some bounce a little. They let the movement of their steps and swagger effect their look (the way they hold their arms and the movement of their hair and clothing), it's 'an art', of sorts.

well first make sure u are at least 5 foot six. then watch some model shows like americas next top model. if you are really desperate try an agency they will teach u everything from runway walks to photo shoots.
