Oh boy this is a tough one. Number one how old are you that would shed some light on what is going on and how they would feel and perhaps react.
There silence is interesting and not knowing you or them it is hard to tell what is going on here.
Is is common for your folks to skirt around issues?
Perhaps they are discussing this between them and trying to decide how they feel about you being gay which they may have already know and perhaps now they dont want you to feel even worse because of the gender issue?
I dont know what to tell you with such little information.
You know your parents and you know how they react to things so with such little background I would say do what you think is right.
On the other hand I would say he who speaks first looses so dont say a word let them bring it up.
You have to decide.

Try to avoid bringing it up if you can, but then again, don't lie in saying that there wasn't another boy with you as that will likely lead to more trouble. Either way, this is a pretty bad situation if your parents don't accept that (sounds likely). It's not uncommon for parents to disown their gay children, so if possible, avoid getting kicked off into the streets.

Respectfully, you should seek mental help. Many psychologists agree that homosexuality is a "sexual disorder."
In Psychology 101, I learned studies show that 50% of all homosexuals can be treated.
Please don't take offense. I'm just trying to help.

Oh goodness, they're probably more confused about what to do right now than you are. I'd let them make the first move, then you'll know what you're dealing with. Good luck!

Leave it alone, if they feel that a discussion is needed they will approach you . If they do apologize for the situation.
