Barry Bonds came out publicly to make it clear his teammate and good friend Mark Sweeney had no involvement in the latest allegations against the San Francisco slugger.

He insists he didn't get any amphetamines from Sweeney. He also didn't deny using them.

Does he even deserve to be on a team period?

Baseball deserves a better homerun king.

I wonder how many times it will take for bonds to blame others for his problems before MLB polices itself and takes care of its bonds problem. If he would just admit he is a cheat and a liar, serve his suspensions and move on people wouldn't hate his so much. Sweeney should take him out back behind a woodshed somewhere, I am sure he could find some help...

yes he does.
Did you know that of the 3000 tests Bonds was the only one that was leaked? I WONDER who is on them too on your all teams? There are many people on amphetamines now and they were banned only at the beginning of last year.So when was Bonds tested. And did you know Babe Ruth was on a banned drug? Alcohol was banned in 1919 to 1933. But he couldn't play unless he was drinking.

Read Ball 4 by Jim Bouton. It explains how everyone in the 70s were using "greenies" -- which were amphetamines. It has been going on in baseball forever

That's going to divide the club house, Bonds right now is a big distraction. He should be fired. Where is Donald Trump?

Yes, he deserves to be on the team period!! Why wouldn't he!
He never said he got anything from Sweeney, the N.Y. newspaper said "he said he did".

NO and he should be suspended 25 games for it. But he wont be because King Selig is a complete MORON! As far as I am concerned the positive test just ended his HOF dreams.

In my eyes, Hank Aaron is the ONLY home run king, despite what Bonds does.
