It is not respected by society. Do you really want people like your family and friends looking down on you?
Plus after you get old, no one will want your stretched out vagina and then how will you make your living? Even if you are wealthy for a few years, it will come with a price. It will take a toll on your physical and mental health. You will be exposed to risks like STDs, criminal prosecution, and will probably fall into a downward spiral of alcoholism and drug abuse.
Also think about how it will affect your significant other. If you have one now, will he be ok with it? If you don't have one now, who will want to date someone who is a professional hooker? Anyone who wants to date a hooker is probably not an ideal person to be with.
There are many things that people can do for a living and make a lot of money from it, like drug dealing, prostitution, etc., but they would run counter to ethical standards. You would be better off finding a 9 to 5 job. It will be boring and probably not pay as much or be as easy as selling your body, but at least you will be respected, which is something that I find to be priceless. Self respect is important too, and I doubt that you could still respect yourself after giving someone a $20 joy ride. It's just degrading and pathetic.

I'm not sure but I think it may still be illegal. Well at least the conversation part of it is illegal. If you discuss money for sex it's illegal. That's what's stopping you. Move to Amsterdam, I think it's legal there and they have unions.

I guess nothing is wrong with it, if that's what you want to do. Go to Nevada and work for one of the legal brothels, at least that way you won't have to worry about getting, beat up, robbed or worse.
