I'm really ready for this show to be through. What will it take for this show to be canceled? is this season finally the breaking point? Who honestly cares still?

Unfortunantly I don't think the show will be ending soon since each season it gains new viewers. I think it is pointless to choose people that can sing other peoples stuff, big deal, they don't write their own songs or play their own music. It seems like even the biggest fans forget about the people they voted for. I haven't heard one single word about Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks or Carrie Underwood since they won, its like they dropped off the face of the earth and no one cares about them after they won the show! (lol) I'm with you all the way. Maybe people just enjoy the dramatics of it all, because it is really boring to me.

I love American Idol!
Was I impressed with last nights talent, no.
I hope it gets better tonight.
Obviously America loves this show as the finalists and winners are becoming very rich and famous!
Then again, I just love reality TV (so I'm biased)

I don't think it's going to go away anytime soon. Especially since it has ratings that out do any other show when it's on. It had the hightest ratings of ALL programs that aired last night. Fox would be crazy to cancel it. And they aren't going to.

I only watch the auditions in the beginning so I can laugh at the stupid people who are horrible and think they are good. They crack me up. I can't stand the rest of the show though.

Obviously freaking EVERYONE cares. But WHY???? I would love to see it go off the air. It was a good idea, it got some great artists out there. But is all the fuss necessary?? Its rediculous i agree..

I'm with you. I really don't understand this show. It's exactly the same thing over and over and over.
I'm sorry I just do not get why people obsess over this overrated show.
