facebook did person get request?

i tried to add someone on facebook, is there a way to know to find out if the person read the request. I was thinking about sending another request, but im afraid maybe the person just dons't want to add me? do people decline?? is there a setting for that?

if they recieved the request or denyied your request then you wont be able to send them another one for a while i would say send them a message or poke them to get their attention

i don't know if there is a setting for it but i will always send more than one request if they decline me but too if you do it again it will tell you if it's just pending still
