Easy - space ends when matter begins and vice versa.

So if there is anything beyond space, it would matter. But matter has not been observed to occur in such huge quantities as to encompass space except in Ptolemy's spherical cosmos.

Then again, in the universe of Einstein, where space wraps back on itself then, beyond the dimensions of time/space would be the exotic n-th dimensions.

To illustrate, consider that beyond the 2 dimensional universe of Flatworld (length and breath) is our 3/4 Dimension universe of space and time. Flat worlders will have great difficulty conceptualizing height (though they may still have time) and they rightly believe that a sphere is infinite in its distance - miles and miles of flat.

More Space. A space is a space no matter which way you look, internally or externally you will always find space.

If you could consciously become aware of all the spaces you see when you close your eyes then you could start to fathom space as space.

Even when you sleep, where you journey is a space. Put consciousness where you usually don't have it and you will find substance in space and spaces.

If it is within our universe it is in space, if it is not within our universe it cannot interact with anything in our universe so from our point of view there is nothing outside the universe. Nothing is beyond space.

in this realm...the dimention(s) inwhich we live...the cosmos is infinite...no thing is beyond because all things are within the infinite of space...
now other dimentions...beyond or next to or parallel or however that works, to our own realm...there is a whole different kettle of questions...
