Ofcourse they count, but they are by no means a way of determining somebody worth. People change, and first impression can often be off mark, but usually if you have good judgement of character they are not.

First immpressions can make a big difference in all aspects of life. The best thing to do is be natural and don't try to act like somebody your not.

Not at all, we judge people by them and when you actually get to know them, they are usually nothing like what you first thought.
Some people are easy to read though, they are the brainless ones with no character of their own

i dont. take time to know the person, place or thing.. i think its the inside that matters a little bit more then the outside.
