Linemen (on both sides of the ball) have the toughest job physically, taking a pounding on every single play. You can tell by who has the most blood on the jersey...

QB is the most pressure filled, and toughest mentally.

Well the Best is very different to alot of people but I think The Kicker is The Best because its the easiest and less painful to make money and be safe!!
Now for the Toughest!!! I would have to agree with you!!! Being a lineman is grueling and punishment day in day out....being hit from all angles and having pound for pound more physcial beatings than any other player!! The next would be a running back but then again they dont last much without a line blocking for him!!You know what I mean????

Since it is a team sport I don't think any position is more important than the others. Some may receive more glory but wide receivers/tight ends/running backs/fullbacks/etc. couldn't get the ball without the quarterback who couldn't get the ball without the center. Plus the quarterback would be pummeled without the offensive linemen. And the offense scoring points wouldn't do any good if the defense wasn't doing their job. I think they are all equal.

I play runner back, which is also a tough position. Runner backs usually get hurt the most and without them it would not be much of a passing game. So I think RB is the best.

"the best position in football" - "FX" got it right, it doesn't get any better than kicker. Morton Anderson has been in the NFL like 25 years and he hasn't been hit yet.

it has to be the quarterback, everytime your team loose it your fault, and you get blame for a lot of drops that is the wide receiver fault
