I've noticed at the state level politicians are more willing to serve their constituents rather than their pockets (Although plenty of that still goes on. I live in Florida and the insurance industry and developers haven't found a politician they don't love.)

State legislatures have passed minimum wage increases, universal healthcare and state funding of stem cell research. Whatever the voters push for, will be much more likely to pass on a state rather than federal level.

Umm no the States are actually doing whta they are supposed to do and that is to work independently of the Federal Government. The Federal government is not supposed to have this much control over our daily lives and the fact that people keep wanting to give up that control is really pissing me off.

Then again what else can we expect from those that still live in their Parents Basements and think that Hillary is a smart woman?
