Same reason when there is a Democrat in the WH the Democrats in Congress to vote with the President.

Republicans have their political goals and agenda and so do the Democrats. Come on this is freshman year high school civics at best.

Because the Libs vote in favor of Liberals agendas..Its a party thing.....Also, we as American are supposed to be behind and support our President
