They tell me there is a build-up of stuff on my uterine wall, due to not have my period in a long time, i had a biopsy and I have abnormal cells, but my doctor really doesnt see this all as a problem.. I also have a very large cyst. I dont know wat to do now... the more I bleed the weaker I get.. I cant even get out of bed lately.. if anyone out there has expierenced something similar.. please let me know.. and let me know if there is any cure or medication to stop this period.. thx..

The ER should have called in a Gyn to fix the problem.

I had a miscarriage and a large clot was keeping the cervix open which kept the bleeding from stopping.
They called the Gyn who was covering the ER.
The other doctors wouldn't touch me, left me in one of the exam rooms and just waited for the gynocologist to show up. When he did, he removed the clot and the bleeding stopped within minutes.

Your cyst might be doing the same thing.

Make an appointment with a gynocologist. GPs and ER people don't know a darn when it comes to females.

It sounds a whole lot like endometriosis, which is the uterine lining gets lodged in other areas besides the uterus(tubes, bladder)and grows on the hormones that you normally secrete. Each period, more endometriosis spreads, you will have long periods, bleeding between periods, pain during sex, a dull achy type pain in your lower abdomen. Go to the doc and ask them to do a lapraoscopy, they can put this tube with a camera on it in your belly button, they look around the uterus and the area around it. If there is endometriosis, some people can take hormones to get rid of it, others may have surgery. The large cyst is also an issue that needs addressing. The cyst may be the problem depending on where it is. You may be getting anemic from the bleeding if you are super fatiqued, I think I'd call the doc back or try a different one. Good luck.

Going to the ER won't help unless you get transferred over to gynecology to see a regular gynecologist. Remember, the emergency room is strictly focused on emergencies. They just have to make sure you are breathing and your heart is pumping....basically, they make sure you aren't in a critical condition.

For the constant bleeding, you can try to go back to the ER, but have yourself transferred to gynecology. Otherwise, just go see a gynecologist yourself. Bleeding for 19 days with large clots is very abnormal, and indicative of a problem. The gyno will be able to run the appropriate tests to determine what exactly the problem is. If you don't see a gyno, you will eventually become anemic and you will end up in a seriously bad condition.

The Large Cyst is the problem here, my mom just had to get surgery done for this, she would bleed for two weeks straight or even more and she waited tooo long to get it checked or the cyst removed and they had to take the cyst out along with some other things, like her ovaries and a few other things I cant remember, I have this problem too, and my stomach is kind of "bigger" than usual its probably a cyst also and i bleed ALOT, 9 times out of 10 its the cyst and you need to get it removed, my mom waited and it was the size of a football. Hope this helps, good luck, make a doctors appointment sooon! Also if it turns out to not be the cyst thats causing the bleeding, try to get on the depo shot, you get it every 3 months and it takes away your period for good, I got on it just becasue i was sick of the bleeding so much, its just a type of birth control shot. and it takes about a year or more to get your period back when you quit taking it.

It could be due to endemitriosis (sp?) or another serious condition. If you are bleeding so much that you are weak, I would definitely suggest consulting another doctor/hospital! Your doctor may not see it as a problem, but it sounds quite serious to me if it is affecting whether you can get out of bed!

Hope you find a good doctor and resolution soon!!!

OMG, you must be very anemic by now, have you had a blood test? I had a similar problem and they did an ultrasound and determined I had fibroids. I had the fibroid removed and it totally solved the heavy long periods. You've got to fix this ASAP, I'm sure you're anemic and that's very serious. I got anemic and they wanted to do a blood transfusion and I wasn't even feeling that tired. Call your doctor now.

Go to a different doctor and get a 2nd opinion. This is not normal! They can prescribe you something to better regulate your period. In the meantime, take iron supplements and make sure you're eating enough protein to offset your blood loss. Good luck!

This isn't a question to be asked on here. This question should be asked to a gynecologist. And I would also consider seeing other doctors as well for a second opinion. I certaintly hope you feel better soon and good luck!

I'm not sure what's wrong with you, but maybe your gyno can put you on birth control to regulate your period - although if you have a cyst, that may not be possible. I hope everything gets better. I imagine you're really scared at this point. Good luck. :)

You need to go to a new doc or at least back to your old doc ASAP and get this taken care of. Abnormal cells are not ok and the constant bleeding leaving you weak is not ok for you. See a new doc and let them know it is an emergency appointment you need.
