If it is small amount of oil then the result would be as all others have said. If you added 2 gallons of oil and no petrol and also tried to start it - you would get a masterpiece worth keeping in museum.

I'm guessing that your scooter is a 2 stroke. When prepping a small 2 stroke bike before delivering it to the customer, we not only fill the oil tank, we fill the petrol tank with pre-mix fuel (32:1 fuel/oil mix).
The reason I mentioned that was to let you know that extra oil in the fuel won't do any damage.
A lot of good advice here. Just drain the petrol tank and fill with pure petrol. Keep a spare spark plug and spark plug wrench handy when you go for a ride (in case the plug fouls). The exhaust is going to blow extra smoke. Keep the revs up while your riding until all the smoke burns out of your exhaust pipe.

Just empty the tank and refill with fresh gasoline. Don't refill the petrol tank till is near dead empty. Your scooter may smoke a bit more than usual, but no harm will be done. Actually a little oil in the gas now and then is good for a motor.

If you star the scooter the piston will have more oily gas that usually... wont hurt the engine but might clog your carburator and mess up your spark plug (which you might have to take out and clean).
If you put a little ... put some more gas in the gas tank and try to burn the oil in the gas.... it will smoke a lot but that means it burning oil.... rev the engine till the smoke goes out.... it might fix itshelf like that or you might have to clean the carb and spark plug... or you can always drain the fuel tank before starting the engine.....

At the best you will probably get a lot of smoke. Drain the oil and petrol out of it and put fresh petrol in.Maybe you didn't do any damage, but you should be able to tell really quickly afterward. The smoke should clear ou within a few miles at the most.

I double everyone that tells you the plugs and carb will gum up., you have little to worry about. If the whole tank is full, just let drain for some time ('till few drops/min) then fill with gas and you'll be good to go, just a little trouble staring and a bit of smoke...that can be fun, lol try to do it somewhere there's a lot of people. HA!

depends on how much oil.a small amt may burn off and just make a little exhaust smoke until its all burnt up.a lot of oil will foul the plugs and carbeurator and the scooter wont run.then yo need to drain the tank and clean the plugs and carb.either way no serious damage will occur.
good luck

Depends on how much oil. A little might cause some blue smoke in the exhaust. A lot will clog up your fuel system and foul the spark plug.

gasoline it oil just refined more then gear oil. If you put a little oil in it will run rough, the more you add the harder it will be to burn it. When it does burn it will leave smoke when running.
If you add to much oil to it you will see it choke out the engine because the oil is to thick to burn.

To get the oil you have in there out remove the tank clean it with gasoline and run an gas treatment in it. Make sure not to boost your octane to much, don't want to blow your engine up.

You can't do this directly. The oil has to be filtered and dried of water. It is only applicable to diesel cars. Take expert advice on this; you may have caused damage to the injection pump.
