The digestive system breaks down (catabolizes) food into its nutrient parts. The circulatory system brings those nutrients to the cells where they are needed. One of the main requirements of the cells is for energy, which the body manufactures by combing nutrients (especially carbohydrates, glucose, glycogen, and glycogon) with oxygen. The body takes in oxygen via the respiratory system and distributes it via the circulatory system.

After oxidation (the "burning" of the nutrients in the presence of oxygen), the waste products of the oxidation are removed from the cells via the circulatory system. Some of the waste products are deposited in the digestive system (and the urinary system) for removal, and the gaseous waste products (notably CO2) are sent to the lungs where the respiratory system removes them from our body.

Simple!

Digestive - you eat foods.

Circulatory - during digestion the nutrients are taken from the food and put into your bloodstream. The circulatory system carries the nutrients throughout the body.

Respiratory - you inhale and exhale. The lungs give oxygen to the blood stream, which carries O2 to the entire body, as all processes need O2. Blood streams brings CO2 back to lungs where you exhale.

The digestive system delivers nutrients to the blood from the food we eat.

The circulatory system delivers the nutrient rich blood to the different parts of the body.

The respiratory system helps to oxygenate the blood and deliver respiratory gases (oxygen and carbon dioxide) to and from the parts of the body.

simply speeaking...and if it is homework it will need expanding on... Digestive system takes in food materiasl and changes them to soluble materials to be absorbed into the body Respiratory takes in oxygen and excretes carbon dixoide and cardivascular system transports these all wround the bosy and to the correct organs.

The entire body works as one system. One thing causes something else to happen. If arteries in the circulatory system clog, that affects the repertory system as far as how well it works. It may slow down. If the repertory system isn't working as well as it should do to clogged arteries or veins the other systems slow. Each part of the body depends on another.

When oxygen goes into the lungs it moves into the alveoli. The alveoli then transfer the oxygen to blood. The blood then transports the oxygenated blood throughout the body. When body cells receive oxygen they give back waste, or carbon dioxide. The blood then carries the Carbon Dioxide back to the lungs and the carbon dioxide is exhaled. Then the entire process repeats itself.
