Im talking about protein, etc... the stuff you would find at a GNC or something. Im trying to gain weight (I'm a 6 foot male about 145 lbs) while doing some casual weight lifting (about twice a week).

THANKS!

Here's a basic run down of some weight training supplements:

Whey Protein.
This is your main supplement. They have weight gain whey and normal... usually the weight gain stuff has something like "MassXXX", but be careful. They can have up to 2500 calories per serving.
GNC carries their own brand of 100% whey protein which has about 20g per serving. An ok amount. I prefer Optimum 100%, cheaper and more protein. You can find it on amazon.

Creatine.
Adds water weight to your muscle mass. Safe and effective. I personally like the EAS pure form if possible. Instant weight gains from this product... In a good way.

Multivitamin.
You're going to need one. Just a men's daily will work. Don't stress over this one.

Zinc.
Helps the body function against bacteria and disease.

Vitamin C.
Basic all around vitamin.

Vitamin E.
Muscle rebuilder assister.

You don't need to go too crazy here. A multi, a whey supplement, and some creatine will be just fine.
