I would really love to blend in,but I just dont know
how. I do feel awful about it,I would love to blend in with everyone. How can I help myself on this?

go with friends so you always have someone to talk to. do something stupid like go to a karaoke bar and sing a crazy song. everybody will laugh and think you are great and buy you a drink.

Maybe the reason you feel that way is because you may be shy, or anxious in the presence of certain people, I'm shy and sometimes have the same problem.

Try to relax a little, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. The next time you are at a bar or party just try to make small talk with someone or a few people to get the ball rolling. You will feel great afterwards because then you will get to talking with more people, ad you will fit in like you wanted. I know it's hard, but take it slowly, remember to stay positive, and keep your head up. You will be fine. Take care. x

Act like you're enjoying yourself (smile, look comfortable and independent) and people will come and chat with you. Read some books about how to attract people or how to socialize. I'm sure such books exist.

Whatever you do, don't stare, don't look uncomfortable or panicky or desperate, or sad and lonely. Just enjoy yourself and have a good mood.

It is normal to be somewhat shy or nervous when in a social situation with strangers.

What were you like in nursery? Dont worry about it everyone has a natural in built reaction to social situations. Its just who you are. The interesting ones worth talking to will home in on you anyway and the social butterflies will just hop between each other. Im a wall flower, I like it I get a better view.

you need to build your self confidence, stop caring what people think about you and learn to enjoy yourself. You have to force yourself to speak to people dont worry about what to say just say what comes into your mind, show a genuine interest in who your talking to and you will find that you will start to make new friends...Let me tell you that having just a few friends who share the same interests can be great for your self confidence..... Go on take a risk.... enjoy yourself!!!!!!!!
hope this helps :-))
