I have a Toshiba computer and recently purchased a game, I checked all the spec requirements for the game to function properly and my computer exceeds all of them. When I try to open the game it says "Your 3d accelerator and or video card could not be initialized properly. Please update your drivers for your 3d/or video card. I then updated the latest drivers for my accelerator and video card and still gives the message. IM getting soooo pissed off and need advice please.

Certain games specifically require Nvidia or ATI chipsets in order to function correctly. Your chipset may not have the same specs.

Not just RAM quantities.

Try this.. simply right click on your desktop to properties. change the screen settings one by one and retry starting the game after each from 16 bit, to 32 bit.. etc.. You may have the requirements, and simply have the wrong screen settings on windows such as 16 bit when you need 32 bit.. etc.. just a shot.. if not, then the game is too complex, and requires something insane that you don't have. Resort to selling it on ebay before you lose a ton, and don't support the game maker again for requiring some weird off the wall expensive hardware.

Your computer needs to be more modern....
The video chip of your computer is probably containing less kb than the game requires.
