Most people probably have not heard of the Avantasia project by Tobias Sammet (of Edguy). But if anyone has, he is in the works of putting out a third Avantasia album (different story than the first two albums). Does anyone know when this is supposed to come out? Just a ballpark figure? And if you could state your source so I can go read more about it that would be great. Thanks!

On December 28, 2006 Tobias Sammet announced to be working on another conceptual album with different musicians and singers.

As of January 4th, 2007...www.tobiassammet.com cites that the drums have been recorded. I did not see any mention of a release date, but I can tell you that I'll be checking back often for it. I own the first two and they are among my favorite CDs.
