Is this a good place to live in terms of things to do, less crime, good schools, good place for families?

I live in Tucson and I think it's a great place to live.
Just like any other town there are good sections and bad sections of town. Crime is everywhere, you can't escape it. But, you can protect yourself from it, as I do and I've never had a problem. The weather is great! Lots of sunshine and blue skies. Yes, it gets a little hot here in the summer but, it's not humid and that does make a difference. I would much rather be warm than cold. I live it a small family orientated community and it's perfect.
I suggest the northeast and southeast sides of town as the best. There is a wonderful university here, right in town. If your an outdoor person, there is tons to do.
Hope this helps you a little. Look at my profile to see previous answers to this question.

UofA is really awsome and everything. But i wouldn't propose moving there.

If anything try Gilbert Mesa, or Goldcanyon. Goldcanyon i mean it is like 4 hours away, but there's nothing really to do there.

you have lakes, atving spots or something you know.

its seems more like casa grande to me really.

deserted.

but the cathedral is there.

so i go there to visit here and there.
other then that, crimes down, schools are REALLY good.
property value is in good condition also...

so i'd perfer not to move there, but, if you want to it is a good choice.
i mean it's not as bad as phoenix by far...

My brother lives there. They have a good University and the weather is quite hot, but I don't know many other details.
