how hot is it getting? i wouldn't let it get passed 55 degrees C. If it's a crappy brand, get a new one. corsair just released some really good power supplies made specially for gamers. they have a 520W and a 620W model. I don't believe there's a way to turn up the fan. if there was, it would require opening up the power supply which A. voids the warranty, and B. is very dangerous, because even when power supplies are turned off, hold lots of electricity, just like monitors.

What you should do: Add some fans inside your case. I made my computer too, and adding fans lowered the temperature a lot, around 5 degrees C per fan. Your case probably has space for 2 more 80mm fans, and if you don't have a very good cpu fan (120mm), get a new one. Rosewill makes a pretty good ones, that go around 710rpm+
