Why do guys hate to take care of the baby?

Why don't girls think about this question before they give it up and get pregnant. It's not like a secret or something that is rare, ya know? And it's not all guys. I have 3 kids and I love being a dad. My kids are all grown now but we had some great times (still do).

Some guys love to take care of babies.
Some guys are scared because they think "mom" will say it's not good enough.
Some guys take great care, just not in front of mom.
Some guys think it's moms job.
Some guys are pigs.
