I had heart problems when I came here many years ago. December 2005 I elected to have heart surgery in Manila instead of returning to the States. I had Open Heart surgery prior to coming here. I know the procedure and care in Manila was as good as I had in Houston, Texas.

A ten day supply cost: (49 pesos to a dollar)
Accupril 45 pesos each
Concore Tab 5 MG 24.50 pesos each
Lipitor Tab 40 MG 95 pesos each
Plavix Tab 75 MG 120 pesos each
Aspirin Bayer 300 MG 14.50 pesos each
Iberet-Flic 500 MG 16.60 Pesos each

I notice that many replied the drugs cost the same as in the States. I lived in Houston, Texas and my drugs were more in Houston than here.

One advised to make sure you purchase from a Pharmacy like Mercury and that is excellent advise. There are small Pharmacies on nearly every corner and to purchase from them is dangerous. Many have samples, counterfeit and outdated medicine. Mercury Drug and Watson Drug are the two major players.

Yes it is availible and generally costs the same if your talking about brand names. Generics usually are cheaper here as it is in the states and canada. The main differance here is to be very careful to get your drugs from a known national chain like mercury drug because allot of drugstores here will sell expired medications or that of a lesser quality from places like India.

i know... from time to time it pisses me off lots if 0.5 the menu is lacking, that I purely walk out the eating place. i've got purely encountered this interior the Philippines in spite of the undeniable fact that. in different international places I went to they mark it immediately on the menu if a definite merchandise is out of inventory. yet I on no account observed extra suitable than one merchandise out of inventory in Europe, while right here?!... properly. from time to time I even attitude the waiter asking, "Ano dito ang meron?" "what's accessible right here?"
