I got a wirelss Pci adapter for my desktop from linksys, and it messes with my comptuers sound and makes songs jump a little bit, or locks up the computer totally. What should i do?

Are you sure??? Try disconnecting the adapter and verifying that. I have a Linksys and never had that problem.

Second, go to Linksys web site and search for known problems with their adapter.

Lastly, call Linksys tech support. They are great and very helpful.

P.S. Make sure you don't have some other electrical device like a lamp, modem, radio, or other electrical device near your system. That may be the source of your problem.

Check to make sure there isn't a conflict with the 2 you can do that by right clicking on my computer and going to prop then go into your divice man and see if there is a conflict. If not remove the card and try it again. If it works find place the card in a different slot in your computer.

that sounds really weird. your linksys is in no way directly or indirectly connected to your sound card. make sure there are no magnets near your cpu. this can cause problems.
