An unpleasant odor may be the sign of a bacterial, yeast, or sexually transmitted infection. Douching is not a good idea though. It upsets the normal balance of the vagina and women who douche are 75 % more likely to contract Hiv than those who don't. It would be a good idea to see you gynecologist. Continue to have annual pap smears. With the correct treatment, the problem should go away.

You may have an infection such as yeast. I'd suggest a trip to the gynecologist.

Also, using feminine hygiene products such as a douche to clean yourself will lower your natural Ph levels and invite odor-causing bacteria.

You probably have a yeast or fungal infection. See a doctor before it gets serious and infects your internal organs. They will just give you a pill and it will be gone in a couple days.
PS if can spread to your partner, so abstain until it is gone

Talk with your Gyno. Have him/her check for a yeast or other infection. (douching upsets the natural balance)
