The Iraq debacle. The Scooter Libby trial and the problems it could create with the witness list especially if V.P. Cheney gets caught in the web. The illegal wiretap issue now starting to hit the fan. No response to his own party to pardon the border patrol agents. Republican senators starting to speak out against his Iraq policy. Are we beginning to see the cracks growing wider?

I think the wheels were starting to come off about a year ago... now I think about 2 tires are completely gone and he's riding on the rims, while the other two tires are about to blow...

the dems have congress, in a large part due to bush's moves and rummy is gone... more and more Republicans are coming out against him...

now if Abramoff starts talking... it would go into total meltdown...

I say, no-- The low point was the election. The shrillness of Barbara Boxer [vs. Condi Rice], Nancy Pelosi, mis-speaking John Kerry, ice cold Hillary [the political chameleon], the lack of a positive agenda, the revelation that the White House did NOT 'out' Valerie Plame after all, a party split between Hillary and the more statesman-like but inexperienced Obama....all help the Republicans. But it WILL be interesting to see if Dems can unify for a strong '08 showing. Republicans are definitely weak on borders--that's a no-win issue for the GOP!

Those wheels stsarted coming off when he mouthed off about winning the war aboard that battle ship. He has proven once more that wars belong to generals and not politicians.

Yes, the wheels are coming off but they continue to spin, spin and spin. And they'll continue to spin until they fall off, lose momentum and fall to the ground. Hopefully soon.
