The soundtrack is by Yann Tiersen. It's a great soundtrack and his other albums are worth seeking out as well.

I can't remember the scene you are referring to. There are only two tracks on the soundtrack that weren't composed by Tiersen:
1) Guilty (dating back to 1931) and 2) Si Tu N'Etais Pas La (1934).
