I used to live on a farm with chickens.....they are very 'fowl' (pun intended). If you ever saw them peck through their own feces and (gag) , well, they aren't the cleanest animal on the land. I raised 5 baby mallards (motherless) in my bathroom. They 'implanted' themselves. I was their MaMa.....
So, I would rather not have chickens....they also peck at you when you gather their eggs. MEAN!

Yes I do... and ducks. I had a tame chicken when I was about 10 and now I have a tame duck... I think eggs are the most amazing thing ever too!

As a pet they are pretty nasty. They stink and they poop everywhere! If you have ever had the misfortune to live near a chicken farm you will grow to hate them. Now, as far as food goes, YUM!

Sure. They are fun to raise. They will follow you around like a dog. Good alarm clock too. Lets you know when anyone is around the house.

Yes because chickens make baby chicks...and baby chicks are really CUTE!!!

chickens make great fertilizer, and for livestock are realitively easy to maintain. sure we love 'em

no, they frighten me, i suspect them of devil worship and following the desires of satan! although a fresh roasted chicken always seems to make my day!

no, i only want them for food.
if ever i would have an animal as a pet, id have fish/es. they are a site to behold, especially the colorful ones.
