Exactly what his stats were last season. I'm a huge Yankees fan, but I have a conspiracy theory that will blow your mind. Jeter was on steroids a few years back. Why do you think the players union is getting uptight about the supeonas and congressional hearings? Bonds isnt in the players union, so he isnt protected by them. For the union to get extra ansty, they'd have to have a list of names (ie Jeter) that would destroy baseball. Sacrificial lambs like Guilermo Mota or these pathetic minor leaguers who use steroids wouldn't get the union all worked up. Guys like Jeter, Pujols, Helton, that would start a fire....

If Derek Jeter took steroids, no one would be interested in his stats.

However, Derek Jeter is a much better person than that. On a team of Steinbrenners, he is a true Yankee, and I wish him well (except when he's playing against the Mets or the Mariners, of course!).

He's an inside-out, ground-ball hitter. Power doesn't come from a swing like his and steroids dont make a player a better power hitter, a workout designed for power hitters and steroids makes better power hitters. If he tried to bulk up not only would he wind up hitting the same grounders and bloop opposite field hits but he would probably hit less of them because the added bulk would slow him down thus turning his infield hits into outs.

If he was on steroids that would mean he would want to be hitting the ball farther and harder which woul dmean he would be swinging for the fences. If he did that, he would strike out a whole lot more and his avereage would dip below .250.

Steroids don't enhance your hand-eye coordination. They just make you stronger, shrink your balls, and are very unhealthy for you.

It wouldn't quite be that dramatic, but it would be something like this: .367 batting average, 40 home runs, 156 RBI.
Steroids would only make his power stats better, not his average. He'll still have good contact, just that he'll have a lot more homers.

Jeter wouldnt take steroids cuz hes the captain. he reps the Yanks. he would have too much to lose if he was on the 'roids.

ppl who hate Jeter know he's to good for their team to handle

I don't think those would be his stats. More like .358 AVG, 49 HR, 132 RBI.

AL pitchers won't pitch to him once he's on Vitamin "S." However, he'll shatter most Yankee records, and Barry's walk record

.331
66 HRs
154 RBIs *

* 208 Walks, they won't pitch to him, including 26 Hits by Pitch (from the haters)

0 Games on the DL
0 Trainers in jail protecting him from prosecution

His hat size will increase to 8 3/4 however, as a side-effect.
