TO BE HONEST, I've never actually counted - I love my son just as much as my wife does, and we both tell him how much we love him many times every day. He may only be 3 and 1/2 years old, but he knows mommy and daddy love him. And every night - without exception - before I even go into the bedroom to sleep, I look into his room and make sure he's ok (even though I know he's ok, he's sleeping), it's just one of those parent things I do - some people might think it strange, but to me it's something I do because I care.

I'm not a parent, I'm a child.
And my parents NEVER say it.
But I know my grandmother says it everytime she gets to.
Even when I was younger, they barely ever said it.
I used to go to bed everynight and before I would kiss each parent on the cheek, give them a hug and say, "Goodnight, I love you, see you in the morning." And they would always just say, "Yeah. Good Night."
Because of that I barely ever say it anymore, and I never give hugs. Only on ocassions.
So I know that when I become a parent, I would say it all the time, to make them feel loved and wanted.
