To enable JavaScript in IE:

Go to Tools > Internet Options
Go to the Security tab
Click the "Custom Levels..." button near the bottom
Scroll down almost to the bottom of the list, where it says "Scripting". Underneath that it says "Active Scripting" and has choices for Enable, Disable, and Prompt. Choose "Enable" and click OK, then click OK.

To ensure you have the most recent version of the Flash player (sometimes it can get messed up):

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs
Look for any of these and remove them:

Macromedia Flash Player n (where n is a number)
Macromedia Flash Player n Plugin (where n is a number)
Adobe Flash Player
Adobe Flash Player n (where n is a number)
Adobe Flash Player n Plugin (where n is a number)
Adobe Flash Player n ActiveX (where n is a number)
Adobe Flash Player n ActiveX Plugin (where n is a number)

Once they are all removed, restart your computer and go to http://www.adobe.com/flashplayer and follow the instructions.
