Most of the people that answer are just voicing an opinion and if some users can't take the opinions of others, why are you members of this site? We all encounter people with different views.

Thanks TBS for proving my point exactly. Your 'opinion' is carries no real weight and does not insult me as it is merely YOUR opinion. I am adult enough to understand that you have neither researched nor given much evidence to support your claim. I do not need to report you to make myself feel better.

Sorry David S did I hit a raw nerve. Are you a sad, old weirdo who just 'surfs' YA to report others. What a sad life you must lead.

Well said Nat. Some of them do it because they think they've got a teeny bit of power over someone else, like you say if they don't agree with someone's opinion they report them. You can just picture them tapping away furiously on their keyboard to report someone. How sad.

I have no idea, Nat. I was just given the red card for answering a question like this, and penalised 12 points.
The point penalty isn't as bad as the idea that an honest, unbiased response can be considered insulting to other users!
Hopefully someone can come up with the real reasons for reporting others, all I can conclude is some people do it randomly. Maybe they are simply mean, narrow minded people.

There is a lot of difference between disagreeing with somebody's opinion and abusing them. If you explain why you see things differently, you may persuade people to change their mind and see it your way. If you abuse them, they realise that you are an uncouth, ill mannered chav; so you will never persuade them. Thats why. Sounds like you fall into the abuser category.

I think that they are just bullies. I see a lot of them in school. It's like they are down inside, scared little insecure children. Don't they call them "trolls" in chat rooms and stuff? Maybe their parents never gave them enough attention.

There are some people who were brought up correctly, who have good manners and class, who probably don't like those who are offending and insulting to others, it's so unnecessary.
