burn a cd.. i know it is a stupid question but how do i get my computer to burn the CD's i want to burn??

First of all, you got to have a CD Writer unit.
For best "burn" use "Nero", or other softs. Windows Media Player it's a little crotchety. Or simple that, drag the files you want to burn into the icon of CD Writer ( "My Computer" ), ( you must have a CD Recordable in CD Writer unit ) . Then follow the steps .

iTunes and Windows Media Player does it. In iTunes there is button at the bottom right that says "burn" Select it then drag and drop the songs you want.

A good software to use that is on most computers is Windows Media Player if its a pc. For a Macintosh, I don't know.
