Well depending on how high they are, the probably start hurting after about 2 hours of standing or being on my feet. I've had my feet hurt but i didn't take my heels off for about 8 hours. The longest i've ever been in heels would probably be about 10ish hours. Usually just not having them on for awhile relieves the pain. Yes, having my feet massaged at that time would be very nice.

Dancing in heels hurts the worst. Longest I've been in heels 3 1/2 hours while dancing. I soaked my feet in some warm water and just laid down for a while to take the swelling and pain out of my feet. I don't think I'd personally have liked a foot massage because it will hurt me more. I have sensitive feet.

I've been in heels for hours because I love to shop. Sometimes I park in the back of a parking lot and walk to the mall for 2 minutes through the mall for like 3 hours and spend about 10-20-30 minutes in each store from looking at more heels and looking at the jewlery. Then If i'm tired from walking i have to walk across the mall to get to the smoothie thingy and then i sit to drink my smoothie then of course if I dont have the money for another pair of shoes I want then I have to go return the other pair make sure I have all my stuff scavenge for my keys and then waslk the 2 minute walk back to the car with 5 bags probally set off the alarm lol find how to turn it off get in the car and drive home. That is about 5 hours tops and my feet get tired only a little bit. I'd avoid Down elevators because its a hassle with heels. Glad I could help....

Well I work at a day spa and I had to work a 12 hour shift the other day in heels and yes they hurt incredibly and I had to deal with the pain. And how does any girl relieve her feet? By taking them off as soon as you get home and lay down.

If, like me, you take care in buying shoes with heels, then they ought to be as comfortable as any other shoe. If we are truthful, ANY shoe becomes uncomfortable in certain conditions or after a certain time.

I can wear heels for most of the day, just as I would wear "flatties".

Relief of pain for any type of footwear tends to be walking around in bare feet. In certain circumstances, I might soak the feet. However a chiropodist I know told me that it is unwise to soak feet for more than ten minutes in warm water because the natural oils in the foot begin to be extracted. This can cause far worse problems that any ache.

It is also advisable, not only to wear different shoes each day, but also different heel heights day to day.

Feet massage? Not really! I can be rather ticklish.

Foot massaging would creep me out
1.) my feet might smell..embarrassing situation
2.) if you are horrible at it, and your make do like you are a king for the massage

I have to be standing in my heels for more that 1 and a half hour, without sitting, and if i was sitting in heels, I could probably go for 3 somewhat hours before they started to ache.

the longest i have been in heels was 4 hours for a party. I had bunions forming when I got home. I NEVER get bunions, I was freaked out.

Dancing is extremely painful in heels. It really depends on the height of the heels and how skinny the heel itself is.

I use gel pads in the balls of my shoes but they only help a bit. I did dance for about 4hours straight at my school formal in very high, very skinny heels. My feet and back felt almost dead afterwards. I've learnt my lesson from that.

the longest i've been in heels is problyyy 7-8 hours. they don't hurt my feet that much...unless you haven't broken them in then you get pretty bad blisters and no a foot massage did not sound good at the time (((when i had blisters [before they were brokennnn innnn])))
