Which fictional character do you believe is the most like yourself?
Best answer: Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory. His personality is very reminiscent of mine. His introverted, gawky, socially awkward, and detailed personality has led viewers to believe that he has ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), which is what I have. He's also a funny, sarcastic, witty guy. What's not to love... show more

I can understand where you are coming from, I have been in the medical field for several years and worked for some questionable docs. As far as I understand they are only supposed to verify dates of employment, unless you put them down as a reference. As far as the insurance fraud goes, call the insurance commissioner for your state report him. I would also report him to the BBB. I'm not an expert, but you should check with an attorney that does employment. I'm getting ready to do the same for my own problem. Good Luck!

Yes you can. Take it to your union if you are a member. If not engage an industrial lawyer. It would be easy to check out if he is doing this by having the lawyer call for a reference and better still if he will follow it up in writing!
the onus is on you to report fraud or misdemeanors by medical practitioners. After all it is costing you the taxpayer. Give the information in writing and if possible dates, times and as much information you can without breaking patient confidentiality to the relevant authority.

First of all it is against business ethics to give a bad recommendation, in many states you cant give a negative reference about an employee. Go to a lawyer if you have proof, and about the drugs and over charging go to the state attorneys office and make a complaint.

You might be able to sue for libel or slander only if you can prove that the allegations caused you damage.

Check your witnesses and get legal advice.

It might be expensive.

BTW, if you go around slagging the dirt-bag with un-founded allegations, he might have grounds to sue you (how good is your proof).

If you know all this, why haven't you reported him to the authorities.

Basically, if you can prove he gave a bad reference that wasn't true, you can sue him for defamation/slander.
