i caught my son smoking yesteday?

i was driving home early from work yesterday and i caught my son hanging out with a bunch of ****** smoking, i honestly dont care too much for him to hang out with them people... those are the kind that get him in truble lke this. he doesnt know i caught him and i was just wondering how to punish him... i mean my mother used to beat me with an extension cord if she caught me with ****** expecially if i was smoking with them folk. i was thinking of doing the same thing, but that might be considered abuse, should i use a belt instead? and dont get me wrong people I am not a rasict... sometimes them black folk just influence my kid the wrong way. so how should i punish him? because he looked pretty confortable around them... almost as though he's been smoking a long time

well, dont beat him wtih a extension cord, try something like lock him in the basement or closet for a couple hours. not too sure what to do, you need to punish him, but how.

you could hit him with the belt, dont hit him with anything else cause belts bring down the point and iron law.

take away everything he has and dont let him watch tv for a period of time, dont do it forever or hes gonna try one of those run away tricks.

What is your real question? Do you want to punish him for smoking or for his choice of friends? If you couldn't influence him, what makes you think they can? The fact that he's "pretty comfortable", just proves, he has made friends. You should be grateful you didn't raise a racist like your Mother did!

Do not put the blame on your son black friends. You need to talk to your son about smoking and find out why he is doing in the first place. You need to talk to your son about peer pressure. As mother it your responsibility tell him about being his own person meaning he need to have his own thought and ideas. Beating your son and blaming us black folk not going to solve your problem.
