my mp3 doesn't want to turn on anymore and when i try to the screen just flashes and turned off again. it's not the battery because i charged it and it does the same thing can u help me out

Sounds like maybe it didn't charge properly. I'd try and charge it again. Does it give an indication when it is charging? Also does it give an indication when the charging is done? Just how old is this unit? If it is a couple of years old then the battery could have gone bad.

Well, this happened to me with my old Creative MuVo Slim, do a Firmware update, and that should fix your problem.
The firmware download can be found on the manufacturers website most likely, but be known, it could clear your MP3 players memory, so backup your files.

The rechargable battery could need to be replaced. They don't last forever.
