right click on it and select show picture.
if that doesn't work the picture has probably been moved
and is no longer accessible.

You can try to reload the page or view the picture/website/email (whatever you are in where you want to view the picture) using a different server such as Safari or Firefox. If it is in an email, you just might have to ask the person to resend it to you as an attachment.

Sometimes you can just click on the "X" itself and the picture will come through; it's like a mini-Refresh that way. Otherwise, the picture has most likely been pulled.
