If im gonna get up early to buy the wii at target, what time should i get there to stand in line. Also, what exactly does the night look like? I know i wait outside, but is there a manager who comes out and tells me if they have it, or once the doors open is it a mad rush to get to electronics? Im a first timer. thanks

I'd call Target and find out how many units they'll be getting, then check periodically to see if a line is forming. If you'll be waiting more than an hour outside, you should prepare to get very cold. Bring some hand warming packets and extra everything.

When it was first released, I stood outside of Best Buy four hours before the store opened at 9am. At 8am they handed out tickets to the people in line. 30 minutes later, people were pulling in and expecting to get tickets. They did. It turned out I didn't really have to wait in line for more than 30 minutes. Then again, Best Buy had a much larger shipment than other stores.

At launch, the Target in my area had a line that formed about 24 hours before the store opened on launch day, whereas the first people in line at Best Buy got there at midnight the night before.

For my ps3 i was three days early and i was only 8th in line, the employees came out an hour before it opened and gave us vouchers for the ps3 to buy it, i would say to get there 20 minutes early before it opens or so for the Wii, i can't say for sure though

you need to get there very early arround 2 or three in the morning and once the employee's get there they will hand out some tickets to the first ones there or as many wii's they have, then once the store opens you will head towards the electronics area and hand the ticket to the employee in charge of that area and well you'll get it....
