i'd say have a heart to heart with him. Tell him you really love him and just want to see him more often, thats all. If he's not a dumbass he'll understand. haha, you could just tell him he gets a "reward" if he stays home too, that always works

He's obviously escaping from something in his life so that is filled with drinking instead. My husband plays computer games to shut off his brain and go into "another world." Maybe approach him a different way with a plan to do something. Perhaps, "I'd love for us to see that new movie next weekend, be sure to keep Saturday night free." Or "There is a restaurant I'd love to try. Would you take me next Wednesday night?" If you are specific with your wishes they don't need to guess. Sure it would be nice if THEY made the plans, but it isn't going to happen so I've learned to get over it. If you ultimately get what you want does it matter if YOU had to make the plans? If he doesn't show some initiative to please you, then you may have to consider other serious options. Good luck!

Tell him you feel that he loves the Drinks more than you and ask him which is more important to him. He shouldn't fight over you wanting some time. Also, ask him why he feels he needs to drink so much lately, and be there to listen. You will learn a lot from his answer.

You've seem to have gotten your relationship into a rut. He is hiding from something or fighting a feeling. Have you lost that loving feeling. Turn it on again girl. Dress up for him, fix your hair for him, and plan things that involve him like you use to do. He has had a hard day at work and wants to escape the everyday stress that you represent. sorry. But I know where he is coming from. Good Luck

Take care of yourself... love yourself. If he does not want to be with you... why be married? Leave him. He is only going to get worse. Those type of guys are a joke. He does not deserve your tears. Be strong and move on. He may miss you and ask you to come back. Then you will be able to call the shots instead of feeling as helpless as you do.

I think you ask this question 20 years too late. Get the hell out of that relationship and start enjoying life with someone who will want to spend time with you, you deserve to be happy for once, make it happen. Good-luck!

My motto has always been "if you can't beat em, join em ". I would suggest to your husband that you go with him. If he does not agree to that, find yourself your own friends and start going out with them every week-end. I'm sure that would change his mind quick smart. Try it, l'm sure it will work. Best of luck to you
