All men masturbate even while in relationships. As for the other issues communication break down is never good but I would only speculate which I don't want to do as I may be completely off. I can tell you that I had a friend that began to outright ignore his wife and it was nothing more then trying to find his own way toward being more fulfilled, during which time she thought he was cheating. It turns out he just wanted to spice things up but was nervous about approaching the issue and therefore left himself wanting, the more he wanted a change the more nervous he got and so the cycle continued. They fixed things once the talking started again. I would also add don't accuse him of cheating unless you know for sure and your ready to deal with what happens. The worst thing you can do is accuse an innocent man who is already feeling awkward.
