His surge is a protection rigidity plan, from the generals, it is an go out plan.i could think of that they are going to come out regardless of how succcessful it is. The plan, as I even have study and not in any respect interior the politicized mainstream media, is to inflict harm on the terrorist infrastructure as much as conceivable in the previous exiting to furnish the elected Iraqi government of project to stay to tell the tale. in spite of if or not they do or not is as much as them and Bush ought to have in no way hung around after Saddam exchange into captured and tried to country build. Screw country construction that must be a UN interest, different than that the UN is valueless, toothless and corrupt. i be attentive to you're actually not asking a question yet fairly purely making a fact yet i think of the troops are popping out of there regardless of what happens from the surge of troops. the subject for my party, it is Dem by the way, is that we are taking certainly one of those place of opposing the troops and the rehashing the Vietnam conflict (which all and sundry infant boomers theory exchange into the highwater mark of our lives) that we are going to end getting blamed what happens in Iraq as quickly as we bypass away. we are forcing Bush to bypass away there is not any question interior the eyes of the worldwide and the balloting public right here (even inspite of the incontrovertible fact that we went to conflict with a Dem majority interior the Congress a actuality we % to forget as we did in Vietnam). The media are such lowlifes that mutually as now they are working thoughts on the subject of the poor infantrymen the will then be working thoughts on the subject of the genocide, and so on, in Iraq because of the fact we left. And interviews with terrorist leaders loving their victory not over the troops yet over the yank political scene. which will take place purely in time for the subsequent Presidential election. And we Dems can retreat returned into triumphing community elections and campaiging for better rubbish collections and parks in community government. i'm a lifelong Dem and interior the final 30 years there has been no dumber bunch of egomaniacs interior the worldwide because of the fact the national Democratic party and our national applicants. so which you probably did not ask a question yet there is my answer.

Ever hear the term, don't try to catch a falling knife? Senator McCain has NO CHANCE of becoming President, zero. His stance is only securing in people's minds, he is a hawk and we have had enough of the hawks. President Bush will make sure he doesn't get elected, he's doing that for most republicans and if he continues with his Iraq policy, we'll see a repeat of the last election. In case you haven't noticed, the republican party is already starting to splinter.

I believe there will be a more sorrowful chain of events occuring in this country, within many grieving families, than what will happen to the chances of one civilian becoming president.

Troops are not numbers, they are people. I have always thought that the people who elect war should helm the battle from a safe place but, their children should be the first to be sent to the front. That might temper the war fever a tad.

Bush has draftable daughters, does he not?

His presidential bid failed back in 2000, and it doesn't look any better 6+ years later. But his plan to push for an increase in troop strength in Iraq will certainly serve to lessen his chances in 2008.

I think McCain is done. People are putting him into a category that was for the troop surge. Voters are simple minded when it comes to history. They aren't going to remember the caveats of his statement. When it fails, they will associate him with being for it. To think that the majority of voters will be able to make that distinction of his position versus Bush's is giving way too much credit to the public.

McCain advocated a much larger force. I think that will be enough of a difference to spare him. He could very easily say if MORE troops were added, things would have turned out differently.

Politicians always have spin on their side.

You'd have to assume that it would. He has also been hurt among conservative voters because of his opposition to Bush's request that the Geneva Convention be interpreted clearly so that America can forcefully interrogate terror suspects at Gitmo.
