On Long Island, New York it's just starting to be the coldest it's been all year we usually have few snows by now but we haven't had any. Which leaves me to wonder how is the weather around the world this year? Considering my weather has been strange.

In south of France, it's too hot! It's between 10 and 20°C - Sorry, I don't know in Farenheit - and it's getting even warmer. It's like April. There are flowers and lots of birds in my garden, which is very strange for the season.
I believe it's because of the "el nino" phenomenon: air masses should be spread + or - evenly on the planet, but this year they are unbalanced : all the heat is fixed on Europe, and all the cold concentrates on West America.

Quite warm, no snow yet but it was hailing today so there could be some in Feb/March which is a bit strange for England.

I live in Texas and we just got a huge ice storm here. The last one we had was in 1997...10 years ago. It is very different from normal.
